From north and south: Take autobahn A 61 to junction "Rheinböllen/Flughafen Hahn," drive on the B 50 past the airport, 4 km after the airport, take junction "Wahlenau." In Wahlenau, follow signs to Hirschfeld, in Hirschfeld follow signs towards Horbruch.

From the west: Take autobahn A 1 to Wittlich, to junction "Bernkastel-Kues," from Bernkastel-Kues towards "Flughafen Hahn," from the road B 50 327 take junction for "Horbruch."

The "Alte Schule" and farmhouse are located right in the center of the village.
